I am a Human Factors and Engineering Psychologist, specialized in Usability Testing and UX Research. I have frequently worked with eye-tracking, mobile as well as screen based, and other wearable devices like Electrodermal Activity (EDA) sensors. I am currently exploring VR and body- and facial motion capture, especially the combination of the two. I have worked with all of these different techs to see how they can be implemented into empirical research. The university of Twente has hired me for their BMS LAB initiative to further implement their motto, ‘high tech meets social sciences’. I am broadening their reach as well as developing coursework for the university on this amazing and important topic. As of January 2019, I started as a PhD candidate at the University of Twente at the department of Psychology of Conflict, Risk and Safety (PCRS), investigating the discrepancies between subjective and objective methods in deception research.
